What is the absolute worst type of hernia to have?
There are various types of hernias and each of them can be risky if you do not get the treatment on time. However, the worst type of hernia is an incisional hernia because it's hard to treat.
Incisional hernias develop after abdominal surgery and can be life-threatening. Most often, it occurs when your surgical cut doesn't heal or stitched properly. If you face symptoms like abdominal pain, fever, vomiting, or pain around the area, it's better to talk to your doctor. Each hernia must be treated with surgery; otherwise, it can be difficult to operate big hernias.
An untreated hernia can cause strangulation that may lead to death. So, you must not avoid the hernia treatment because surgery is the only option for hernias.
